Procedure

Step 1

We meet together (or consult by phone) to plan the portrait, discussing ideas, size, theme and personality.

Step 2

We arrange for reference photos to be taken, or we can use existing photos. We will use best expressions and poses from several photos if need be to create the best composition and likeness. If the portrait is going to be painted from life, we will schedule a series of sittings.

Step 3

Near completion we meet to check the likeness and discuss any minor changes needed. This can be done with digital images of the portrait sent by email, if necessary.

Delivery

My desire is for you to be pleased with both the fine art and the likeness of your portrait. Upon completion of the portrait you may pick it up or have it shipped to you at additional cost.
